Pacific Pickle Works named a Good Food Awards Finalist for Jalabeaños

Finalists for the 2015 Good Food Awards were announced this week and Pacific Pickle Works was among the 23 finalists in the Pickles category for their spicy pickled green beans appropriately and cleverly titled Jalabeaños. Winners will be announced at the Good Food Awards in San Francisco on January 8, 2015.

"We are excited and proud to be included in this year's list of finalists" said Principal Pickle and founder Bradley Bennett. "The Good Food Awards is a prestigious forum in which to be recognized for creating a great tasting, all-natural, and responsibly produced pickle".

Pacific Pickle Works' Jalabeaños feature organic and locally farmed green beans from John Givens Farms in Santa Barbara, California. Bennett noted "It is rewarding to see great taste and quality ingredients come together and be recognized. We hope to be included as a winner in January but are excited to be a finalist regardless." Pacific Pickle Works is among 206 finalists of 1,462 total entries for the 2015 awards. The 150 chosen winners across the 11 categories will have their awards presented to them by renowned chef and activist Alice Waters who helped launch the Good Food Awards 5 years ago.
