Santa Barbara, CA (June 21, 2016) - Pacific Pickle Works has been named a Gold SIP Award winner for Bloody Mary Mixers in the 2016 SIP Awards International Spirits Competition held May 22, 2016 in Newport beach, CA. Pacific Pickle Works has also taken home the top honor awarded for Specialty Cocktail Mixers in the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition as well as Gold Medal and Best of Category at the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition. 

All three awards are for Pacific Pickle Works' Bloody Mary Elixir, the secret sauce to making a perfectly seasoned Bloody Mary. This seasoning is an all natural product made with Pacific Pickle Works' own house-made Worcestershire sauce and their own blend of spices.

Santa Barbara, CA (May 27, 2016) - Pacific Pickle Works has been named a Gold Award winner for Outstanding Appetizer in the Specialty Food Association 2016 sofi™ Award competition.

Pacific Pickle Works' Brussizzle Sprouts, a blend of semi-sweet and tangy pickled Brussel sprouts, was selected by a national panel of specialty food experts from more than 3,200 entries and cross 28 award categories. Every eligible entry is carefully assessed by passionate and knowledgeable food professionals, including chefs, culinary experts, academics, food writers, and category buyers.

"We are honored to win the Gold Award for Appetizers our first year entering the Sofi competition" said Bradley Bennett, founder of Pacific Pickle Works. "We love those tangy little pickled Brussels and so glad to have them selected for top honors by this prestigious panel of judges!"

A sofi (specialty outstanding food innovation) award is the top honor in the $120.5 billion specialty food industry, and represents the best of the best from members of the Specialty Food Association. Pacific Pickle Works Wins 2015 Good Food Award January 12 2015

Santa Barbara, CA – January 12, 2015 - Pacific Pickle Works, a Santa Barbara based gourmet food company, is the recipient of the 2015 Good Food Award for their Jalabeaños, a unique blend of jalapeño spiced pickled green beans. The award was presented to Pacific Pickle Works Founder Bradley Bennett by world-renowned chef and food activist Alice Waters on January 8, 2015, at the Good Food Award ceremony held at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

“We are extremely proud to receive this prestigious award,” said Bennett. “To have our product recognized among a field of such high quality food-makers from across the country is a real honor.”

To qualify for a Good Food Award, a product must be responsibly produced from locally sourced ingredients, without the use of pesticides and with respect to seasonality. Over 150 products in 11 categories were selected from nearly 1,500 entries for the award this year. The winners were selected in a blind taste test by a panel of industry experts.

“We take pride in the fact that we make good food using local and organic produce,” added Bennett. “This award gives us a great seal of approval as we look to introduce our pickles to a larger audience in 2015.”

Finalists for the 2015 Good Food Awards were announced this week and Pacific Pickle Works was among the 23 finalists in the Pickles category for their spicy pickled green beans appropriately and cleverly titled Jalabeaños. Winners will be announced at the Good Food Awards in San Francisco on January 8, 2015. 

"We are excited and proud to be included in this year's list of finalists" said Principal Pickle and founder Bradley Bennett. "The Good Food Awards is a prestigious forum in which to be recognized for creating a great tasting, all-natural, and responsibly produced pickle".
